Spring
Melanie's favorite time of the year!
Enjoy the bright green landscapes as apple blossoms decorate the ranch and the smell of spring is in the air. Taking walks without any bugs joining along is heavenly. We welcome guests that enjoy interaction with our friendly horses or like to hike. We have trails throughout the property available as well.
Summer
Along with the activities under SPRING, a 25 minute drive east in Hatfield is Lake Arbutus for those wanting to head to the beach for swimming, boating or jet ski rentals. To the north is Wazee Lake which is the clearest and deepest inland lake in Wisconsin and also has become the most popular scuba diving site in the Midwest, attracting more than 1000 divers annually. The pristine waters promotes a “quiet” recreational experience. Hiking & bicycle trails available, as well as a beach & picnic area.
Swimming is allowed on our property as well as a supply of yard games. Both the cabin and suite have a private hot tub and a firepit area with seating available.
Fall
Denny's favorite time of the year!
SPRING and SUMMER activities can be enjoyed in the Fall months of the year. Spectacular colors of autumn are a favorite for guests and those that are into photography will find stunning views to capture. A 25 minute drive into Black River Falls for state hiking trails is commonplace for many guests to enjoy.
Winter
Snowshoes (bring your own or we just may have some in supply) for venturing outdoors on our trails. Snowmobile fanatics are welcome and can access the trails from our property. Want to try snow tubing? We have great hills to tube! Hot tub stays heated ALL winter long...ahhhhhh.
